Intraperitoneal injection of homemade cis-platinum(5mg/kg/d and 1mg/kg/d×5d) in rats caused a significant increase in blood urea nitrogen and serum creatinine. Electron microscope studies revealed a degenerative changes in the epithelial cells of tubules, predominantly in the proximal convoluted tubules. These experimental data indicated that the nephrotoxicity of single ip injection was more remarkable than that of 5 daily injection.

Rabbits accepted daily 20mg/kg sodium fluoride and 30mg/kg sodium tetraborate during a four or six month period Boron combined with fluoride forming tetrafluoroborate was excreted in urine so that the amount of fluoride accumulated in the kidney was decreased. The result showed that boron reduced the toxicity of fluoride chiefly by interacting with fluoride.

The minimum stimulating dose of purified HGF to human fetal hepatocytes is 5ng/ml.The results suggest that HGF is a powerful mitogen of hepatocytes.

以原代培养的人胎肝细胞、大鼠肝细胞等为靶细胞,研究了不同纯化阶段的新生牛肝细胞生长因子(cHGF)对靶细胞DNA合成活性的影响。结果表明,cHGF对体外培养的人胎肝细胞、大鼠肝细胞的DNA合成有明显的促进作用,对大鼠肾细胞、人肝癌细胞株SMMC-7721的DNA合成亦有一定的促进作用,对S_(180)小鼠腹水癌细胞的DNA合成无促进作用。纯品cHGF对人胎肝细胞的最小作用剂量为5ng/ml。提示HGF是一种较强的肝细胞有丝分裂原。
