The incidence of anastomosis leakage was compared between the two groups. Results Nine cases out of 88 non-colostomy cases had anastomotic leakage (10.2%),whereas 1 case out of 73 colostomy cases had leakage respectively (1.4%) (P<0.05).
The averaged anastomosis bursting pressure in the control group,5 Fu group,SU6668 group and combined treatment group was (33.2± 4.7), (32.5± 5.1), (30.8± 5.9) and (31.4± 4.6) kPa respectively ( P >0.05).
Internal of thoracic fistula were 21 cases, 17 cases accepted expectant treatment, 12 cases were cured(70. 59%) and 7 died (29.41%), 2 cases were reoprated to repair orificium fistulae, 1 case was cured(50. 00%) and 1 died (50. 00%), 2 cases were reoprated to resect stoma reanastomosis, 1 cases was cured(50. 00%) and 1 died (50. 00%).
Significant differences were observed beginning on the fourth postoperative day between the 48 patients who improved or were cured and the seven patients in whom therapy failed due to anastomotic breakdown or abscess formation.
Anastomotic leaks or abscesses were radiologically confirmed.
Major complications are anastomotic dehiscence, graft ischemia and stenosis due to the poor vascularization of the prosthetic complex.

The postoperative anastomotic leakage is the most severe complication and the principal cause of death after resection of esophageal carcinoma.
Inhibitory effects of alkaloids from Sophora alopecuroids on feeding, development and reproduction of Clostera anastomosis
Alkaloids from Sophora alopecuroids were bioassayed with Clostera anastomosis for their antifeedant and growth inhibitory effects.
anastomosis larvae, i.e., after feeding on the leaves treated with alkaloid, the larvae lost their weight, weight gain, and relative growth rate (RGR) significantly when compared with the controls.

In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness of a new treatment strategy: splenic auto-transplantation and oesophageal transection anastomosis on 274 patients from three aspects: clinical observation, splenic immunology and portal dynamics.
