The results indicate that, except over the Tibetan Plateau for July, the features of distribution of long wave radiation in a cloudy atmosphere are similar to those in clear atmosphere both in July and January, and that the features of the distribution of radiative balance and distribution of long wave radiation are fundamentally the same.2.The computation of the distribution of trotospheric heat source and heat sink are carried out for eastern Asia. It is found that, the whole region is a heat sink in January and a heat source in July.3.Finally, the computation of various kinds of heat budget of the earth-atmosphere system in the various regions over eastern Asia is made. As regards to the earth-atmosphere system as a whole over eastern Asia, the heat obtained in July compensates approximately the lost in January. But only for atmosphere as a whole the heat lost is larger than heat obtained. The features of different kinds of heat budgets in different regions are different.

In this paper, a cold outbreak process (9-11, Nov 1979) has been analysed with dynamical diagnostic method. It shows that the decrease of the temperature in the cold dome moving to south is caused not only by the diabatic cooling on the surface but also by ascending adiabatic expansion. The mass divergence above the cold dome is caused by the strong positive vorticity advection combined with the maximun vorticity on the left side of the jet core. Thus, in the proceeding of the cold outbreak forecasting, we must pay more attention to the uniform of the wind speed distribution around the trough in higher troposphere, especially the behavior of the core on the northly jet stream behind the trough.

本文利用动力学诊断方法分析了1979年11月一次东亚寒潮过程,证明500毫巴冷中心在南移过程中不断增强是由于寒潮冷空气堆中存在上升运动使空气绝热膨胀冷却所致。文中还从动力学观点解释了寒潮过程中垂直反环流的成因。指出对流层高层(300毫巴)急流核上游(入口区)和下游(出口区)存在相反的铅直环流,上游为正环流,下游为反环流。急流核两侧存在强大的正负切变涡度平流是使急流核上,下游存在性质相反的铅直环流的原因。文中近似计算了这次寒潮过程中槽后偏北急流核两侧空气的12小时二维轨迹,证明槽后偏北急流核左侧强大的正切变涡度中心及其相应的下游正涡度平流引起了寒潮冷空气堆上空质量辐散。因此在寒潮分析和预报时应注意围绕西风槽的急流分布的不均匀性,特别是300毫巴槽后偏北急流中急流核的存在及其活动对预报寒潮冷空气堆的增强是十分重要的。

This is a primary attempt at the composite analysis of the basic structure and evolutional features of tropical cyclones in South China Sea.

本文试用综合研究方法探讨南海热带气旋发展各阶段的基本结构及其演变特征。 综合场分析表明:南海热带气旋的流场大体呈圆形分布。热带气旋的半径在地面图上约为4纬距左右,属天气尺度,垂直伸展范围一般可达300mb左右,涡度轴的方向从低压阶段至风暴阶段变化较大,而且是层和低层轴向不一致,强风暴阶段涡度轴方向基本垂直,径向流入层主要位于500mb以下,流入层达到的高度较西太平洋台风为低。温度场结构方面,各阶段气旋中心温度较周围高出2—6℃;强风暴阶段暖核出现在300mb附近,200mb附近为一冷中心;冷暖中心的数值和出现高度均小于西太平洋台风,此外各阶段的温湿分布清楚地表明,为热带气旋发展供应热量、水汽的暖湿空气,主要来自低层的中心以南地区。 文中还简单讨论了中、低空环境流场,热带气旋的暖心结构与垂直运动,稳定度等等影响南海台风发展加强的一些因子。
