This paper presents a model of the navigation information based on the object oriented programming technology and R Tree. The model avoids the redundant problem of the navigation information in the integrated navigation system, represents a very natural way of thinking and reasoning, and demonstrates the simplicity and understandability that are needed for mariners. In other respect, the paper builds up a two dimension dynamic index for requiring navigation information.
