A new Segment Driver of Graphic LCD Display-CS0108is introduced in the article. CS0108is LCD driver LSl with64row driving output. Built-in display RAM,and can be composed of the liquid crystal display systemin combination with the CS0107(64channel common driver).
We use the pulse width modulation and frame rate control arithmetic in the LCD driver. The two methods both have advantage and disadvantage when using it. To choose the best method of power and display effect, we optimize the frame rate control, and both use the frame rate control and pulse width modulation arithmetic.
DIMM - PC/486 - I is the Minimum embedded PC in the world at present, It has not only integrated desk - top PC of a standard on the area of 68 MMs and * 40 MMs,but also add special function such as watch dog,GPCS,JRC,I C bus and driver of liquid crystal character display system,which have facilitated the designer's use greatly .
The main contributions in this dissertation are given below:1) Based on the display and driving principles of TFT-LCD, the architecture of driving circuit (including gamma correction and source driver) of Longtium T1 is designed and system design is finished.
Poly-Si Technology possesses two advantages:1)The higher mobility of poly-Si TFTs(10-100cm~2/V·s)ensure the pixel switching current large enough for high drive velocity;2)Row scanners and gray-scale column drivers can be fabricated on the glass plate.This method can greatly reduce the number of external leads,decrease the cost and increase the reliability.
Matching the rapid development of LCD, various special controller and driver LSI have been produced and facilitated driving LCD devices. Current products are generally de-vided into following five categories and can be directed by CPU to meet various needs users.
