It influences not only the replacement, cost of shipbuilding, operating performence and cost accounting of the ship, but alsothe structure of shipbuilding and repairing industries andthe development of science and technology. According to thestatistics of some domestic and foreign ships, this paperanalyses the problems, such as the present state of ship's agein different countries, the influence of ship's age over shipperformance, the relation between the natural wearing of hulland technical service life of the ship, determining ship'sservice life based on shipping cost, the relation betweentechnical development and ship's service life. And it makesa suggestion that the service life of merchant ships in ourcountry should be reduced from 40 years to 15-25 years.

In this paper the development of waste heat recovery for generating electricity is introduced, the relevant economic and technical indexes are discussed, and the progress and special features of several typical steam turbines are illustrated.At present the development of power stations of recovering waste heat for generating electrticity is one of the most important ways to improve shipping economy, and therefore has received a great deal of attention from shipping companies and shipyards all over the world....

In this paper the development of waste heat recovery for generating electricity is introduced, the relevant economic and technical indexes are discussed, and the progress and special features of several typical steam turbines are illustrated.At present the development of power stations of recovering waste heat for generating electrticity is one of the most important ways to improve shipping economy, and therefore has received a great deal of attention from shipping companies and shipyards all over the world. In China the research is still in its infancy.This paper introduces the China-designed HC-type steam turbine for ocean-going ships. It can generate 400 KW and isused as an energysaving device for 10,000 Hp marine diesel engines. This device has filled out a blank in China's shipping industry and contributed to China's effort to catch up with the international advaned level in ship-building industry.

本文介绍余热发电用汽轮机组的发展,论述有关的经济、技术指标,列举几种具有代表性汽轮机组的发展过程及其特点。开发余热发电节能电站是当前提高船舶营运经济性的一个重要途径,也是当前国际造船厂商和航运公司热衷发展的一种新技术,在我国尚属初创阶段。本文同时介绍了我国自行设计的海船HC型400瓩余热发电甩汽轮机组,该机组作为万匹马力柴油机船舶的主要节能设备,以填补我国船舶工业在这方面的空缺,使我国船舶工业进入国际先进水平行列。

This paper is concerned with the way of how to contract for the management of the ship-repairing and ship-building enterprises, with the guiding principle, projects of contracting, and concrete steps discussed. The paper also discusses the problem of how to develop and better the system of job responsibility.

本文对长江修造船企业如何实行承包经营责任制的指导思想,承包方案,实施步骤以及如何进一步发展、完善承包经营责任制等问题,进行了初步地论述和探讨。
