This paper presents a general-purpose structural analysis program(JIGFEX) for the existing computers made in our country. It can be used to analyse various complex structures in aeronautical, ship--building, mechanical and civil engineering. This program is characterized with the following features: (1) multi-element technology. (2) multi-level substructuring. (3) the"Master--Slave" relationship among the displacements of various nodes.

The paper describes the surface design of ship hull forms with a computer. According to principal dimensions and ship form coefficients, and consulting parent ships or sketches of contour lines of the design ship, the hull surface is cut into several surface patches which are defined by the bicubic parametric equations. The surface patches must be continuous at the positions and tangent planes. A fair, artistic and practical ship surface is fomed by the linking up of the surface patches and by suitable modification...

The surface patches must be continuous at the positions and tangent planes. A fair, artistic and practical ship surface is fomed by the linking up of the surface patches and by suitable modification with a set of weighting factors. Ship's lines that may satisfy the original hydrostatic properties such as prismatic coefficients, longitudinal center of bouyancy, etc can be obtained. These ship lines can be selectively adopted by naval architects in their practical work.

本文提出了用电子计算机作船体曲面设计的方法。它根据已定船舶主要尺度和船型系数,参照母型船或设计船的轮廓草图,把船体线型分成若干块曲面片。曲面片用3×3次双参数曲面方程表示。曲面片之间要满足位置连续、切平面连续,然后并接起来,这样便能得到光顺、美观、实用的船体线型。通过一组正权因子的适当调正,可得到满足棱形系数和纵向浮心位置等静力性能要求的船体线型,供造船设计师选择使用。

This paper presents a computer drafting process system applied to shipbuilding as well as to other fields and at the same time it describes the fundermantal principles of design, functions and structure.
