    Chemical construction materials can not only satisty the needs of the development of construction industry but also contribute to the conservation of energy and substitution for wood. In China the chemical construction materials have just begun to develop in a planned way. In 1983 the output of various kinds of plastic products used for construction purpose was 2.4% of total plastic production and it is planned to reach 10% in 1990. Paint for construction in 1983 amounted to about 11.50% of total paint production...

    Chemical construction materials can not only satisty the needs of the development of construction industry but also contribute to the conservation of energy and substitution for wood. In China the chemical construction materials have just begun to develop in a planned way. In 1983 the output of various kinds of plastic products used for construction purpose was 2.4% of total plastic production and it is planned to reach 10% in 1990. Paint for construction in 1983 amounted to about 11.50% of total paint production which is expected to reach 15% in 1985. At present asphalt and asphalt felt are still used as principal waterproof materials, but it is estimated that asphalt material used for that purpose will be reduced to 80% in 1990, and new waterproof polymers will increase to 20%. Four suggestions have been put forward at the end of this article for the future development of chemical construction materials, in china.

    化学建材能满足建筑业发展的需要,有利于节能和节约木材。前几年四部成立了化学建材专业组,我国化学建材开始进入有计划的发展。1983年建筑用各类塑料制品产量占塑料制品总产量2.4%,计划1990年将提高到10%;建筑涂料1983年约占涂料总产量11.5%,1985年将达15%;目前防水材料仍以沥青油毡力主,估计1990年沥青防水材料将下降到80%,新型高分子防水材料将增加到20%。文末对化学建材今后的发展工作提出四点意见。
