The results indicate that the model of superstructures experimental study is also good in accord with the theoretical results.

Using the mathematical model of rotational power spectrum proposed by the authors, this paper investigates the effects of rotational components of ground motions on random response of tall buildings. The paper establishes the tall building vibbration equation which is under the action of horizontal and rocking ground motions. The paper also presents the formulas for calculating the mean—square response and dynamic reliability of structures. Finally, it makes a numerical calculation to an actual structure.
