The material cycling in pedosphere is an important portion on the research of the material cycling in global changes. Therefore, studies on pedosphere and on the structure and functions of the material cycling in pedosphere have a close relation to global changes, particularly to global soil changes. The research scope and contents of pedosphere in global soil changes include material cycling in pedosphere and the other geospheres; temporal and spatial variations of water and soil resources; soil fertility changes and sustained agricultural development; regional rehabilitation and environmental construction etc.. They all are the themes of global soil changes and in particular of the global changes in China, and hence deserve our high attention.
