加窗傅氏变换(STFT)是非平稳信号时间——频率二维分析的一种方法,它的时间、频率分辨率是固定的,从而限制了其在工程中的广泛应用。文中以代价函数(即 Shannon 熵)最小为准则,确定钟形函数时间窗的窗宽,用符合信号特性的变窗代替固定窗,克服了一般 STFT 方法的不足,使之成为非平稳信号分析、检测等有力的工具。

This paper starts from analyzing the limitation of time frequency distribution with fixed kernel, and gives analyses of data adaptive flexible window STFT, signal dependent radial Gaussian kernel time frequency representation and matching pursuit time frequency distributions, and then introduces the physical consideration and the mathematical base of the Chirplet Transform. This work not only aims at explaining the development of adaptive time frequency analysis, but also tries to propose that the Chirplet Transform, as a tool for time frequency analysis, offers a framework for generalization, while all the others are its special cases.

从分析固定核函数的时频分析法对分析信号的局限出发 ,引出基于数据的变窗长STFT分析、基于信号的径向高斯核时频分析、自适应配投影时频表示 ,简述了Chirp let变换的物理意义和数学基础。这一工作旨在揭示自适应时频分析的发展历程 ,同时阐明作为自适应时频分析的工具 ,Chirplet变换具有高度概括框架地位 ,其他种种自适应分析方法都是其低维特例。
