The differential reflection spectra and the dependence of relative change in reflectance on potential for Pt in 0.1 mol/1 NaF solution and 0.lmol/1 NaF+0.01 mol/1 pyridine solution have been obtained.In the presence of adsorbed pyridine, a new absorption band appears at 550 nm in the spectra. The new band is assigned to be a charge-transfer band, which corresponds to optical transition of electrons from fuil π-orbitals of adsorbed pyridine molecules which are in planar orientation to dangling bonds on tne surface of the Pt electrode. Change in oxidation state of surface atoms of the Pt electrode due to oxygen adsorption almost has no effect on the dangling bond level with respect to molecular orbitals until surface phase oxide is formed on the Pt electrode.The disppearance of the new band after the formation fo surface phase oxide indicates the desorption of pyridine.

分别测定了Pt电极有0.1mol/1 NaF和0.1mol/1 NaF+0.01mol/1吡啶溶液中的反射差谱和相对反射率变化-电位图,发现在阳极极化电位区,反射差谱出现550nm的新谱带,它可指认为平卧取向的吡啶吸附分子和Pt电极表面所生成的电荷转移复合物在光激发下产生的电荷转移吸收谱带,自氧在Pt电极上吸附到电极表面生成表面相氧化物之前的电位范围内,表面Pt原子氧化态的变化基本上不影响金属Pt的悬空键能级,当表面相氧化物生成后,新谱带消失,吡啶分子可能脱附。
