The ordinary regularity of toughness data of nuclear structure steel was discussed and a function model which can describe the toughness curves quan titively was found. There is a close relationship between the mathematical model and physical meanings. The influence of all the outside parameters on toughness curves can be shown in this equation obviously. The computer program was designed to calculate the. function equation, relationship cofficient and all the special data directly.
