Cold state modelizing flow field tests have been conducted with Shanxi Shentou No.2 Power Plant's 500 MW set's turbulent direct flow pulverized coal burners with dual air control. The main factors that influence the pulverized coal's combustion process were studied and the control mechanism of the swirler vanes has been completely rebuilt. After comprehensive cycling tests, the lowest load, at which the set can exclusively run on coal, has been reduced from 350 MW to 300MW with remarkable economic benefits.

The pumping station using electricity system of DongShen Water Supply Improvement Project mostly includes the special-purpose supplies of LianHu pumping station, QiLing pumping station, JinHu pumping station and the special-purpose lines of the whole water-supply system. The pumping station using electricity is offered by three phase-four wire system of 380/220V neutral point grounding. In order to insure pump units may safely steadily run, the vane adjustment institution of the pump units using electricity, that is, oil pressure equipment, is offered by double circuits. It should satisfy dynamic stability, thermal stability, switched-current and switch up-down selectivity in a short circuit while selecting the pumping station using electricity system equipments.

东深供水改造工程站用电系统主要包括莲湖、旗岭、金湖泵站的内部用电路设备的供电系统。泵站用电采用3 80 2 2 0V中性点接地的三相四线制系统供电 ;为保证机组的安全稳定运行 ,对机组自用电的叶片调节机构油压装置采用双回路供电。选用站用电系统设备时应满足短路时的动、热稳定 ,开断电流 ,开关上、下级的选择性等要求。
