Among the oocytes obtained in 1987, 38.3% were discarded due to poor quality and 23.8% developed in vitro to certain embryonic stage, and the developmental rate in the sheep, oviducts reached 91%. The results of this experiment indicated that the ovaries of aged cows can also be good resource of oocytes for in vitro fertilization.
