Over forty years much effort has been done in researc and experiments on abolishing expansion joints or increasing the spacing of expansion joints, both at home and abroad, from which a basic conclusion has been drawn, that is, to prolong the spacing of expansion joints is advantageous to the performance of the concrete pavement. But there is still some suspicion whether the extra thermal compression will cause instability in slabs. In this paper, based on the analysis of a mechanical model composed of blocks of short concrete slabs between contraction joints, the critical placing temperature for commonly used paving slabs can be derived by using enegy method to calculate the critic longitudinal thermal compression stress on the basis of Timoshenko's theory of elastic stability. Moreover, in order that the long-spacing expansion joint concrete pavement placed under the perm issible placing temperature could be put to normal use, some requirements for construction and maintenance are presented for reference in on-the-spot construction.In consideration of the difficulties encountered in testing the full size pavement model slab, laboratory pavement models with concrete made of finer particles are used to gave satisfactory results.

近四十年来,国内外对取消胀缝(或延长胀缝间距)已作了很多研究和试验,基本上都得出了加长胀缝间距有利于混凝土路面使用的结论。但对水泥混凝土路面是否会因热压应力过大,造成路面屈曲失稳存有一定的疑虑。本文在分析时采用了以缩缝为界的短板的单体性屈胀力学模式,根据铁摩辛柯的弹性稳定理论,利用能量法求出临界纵向热压应力,并由此求出常用路面板的临界铺设温度。为了使在允许铺设温度下铺设的长间距胀缝水泥混凝土路面能够正常地使用,本文还提出一些施工和养护上的要求,以供现场施工参考。考虑到原型路面试验上的困难,本文采用以细粒混凝土为材料的路面模型板试验,取得了较好的验证效果。

The three dimensional finite element program used for thermal stress calculation of ceramic bodies during firing is developed. Properties for various ceramic bodies are determined in different temperature. The thermal stress fields are calculated for various condition. Two new conceptions,the maximum non-order thermal load and body’s maximum equivalent thermal deformation,are given.

根据三维有限元理论,把连续升温的温度场迭加到热应力的计算中,为了计算坯体热应力,对各种不同的生坯在不同的温度下进行了力学参数的测定,分别测试了试样的热膨胀收缩率、弹性模量及强度随温度变化的关系。以面砖和电瓷生坯为例,计算了不同条件下的热应力场。根据第一强度理论及热形变的概念,定义了最大无因次热载荷和坯体最大当量热变形两个新概念。分别以坯体内最大热压应力、坯体内最大热张应力、最大无因次热载荷以及坯体最大当量热变形作为标识,对所计算的热应力场进行了整理。结果表明:坯体内最大热应力在任何时刻总是出现在坯体表面边缘转用处;最大无因次热载荷与坯体最大当量热变形之间曲线形态有着很多相关关系,可以用坯体最大当量热变形来近似推测最大无因次热载荷的变化情况。
