Studies on the Preparation of Nano Amorphous and Intermediate Metastable Phase of α-Quartz-Graphite and Their High Pressure Synthesis and Phase Transition
Full amorphous phase is observed in Al_(82)Fe_5Ni_5Ce_8 after milling for 200h. The crystallization activation energy E was estimated by Kissinger schedule and it is of 164.8kJ·mol~(-1). The effect of cerium is improving the interaction between atoms, and then promoting the capacity of amorphous formation.
X-ray diffraction and selected area electron diffraction analysis showed that Pt-Sn-B/CNTs had an amorphous alloy structure that can improve catalytic performance.
Results showed that the doped element of Cl lowered the temperatures of phase transformation of TiO2 from amorphous to anatase and from anatase to rutile.
It is found that the dependence of the fluctuation free volume fraction on the mean coordination number Zm, which characterizes the degree of connectivity of the network in noncrystalline materials, exhibits nonmonotonic behavior.
It is found that the temperature coefficient of the SAXS intensity (phonon component) for boron oxide changes at the temperature of the transition from a supercooled liquid state to a solid noncrystalline state.
The temperatures of the glass transition and the transition from the supercooled liquid state to the noncrystalline solid state are determined from the temperature dependences of the SAXS intensity.
X-ray diffraction and selected area electron diffraction analysis showed that Pt-Sn-B/CNTs had an amorphous alloy structure that can improve catalytic performance.
3C-SiC nanowires covered by an amorphous shell were obtained on a thin film which was first deposited on silicon substrates, and the nanowires are 20-80 nm in diameter and several μm in length, with a growth direction of [200].
Fraction 1 composed of large crystalline blocks comprising particles of initial powder; the second fraction is represented by nanocrystalline blocks with the dimensions of not less than 8 nm; and the third fraction is an amorphous phase.
It was shown that, upon annealing, a supersaturated solid solution separates into a solution with the equilibrium concentration X, an intermetallic compound Fe7X6, and an amorphous phase (the effect of "inverse melting").
Fraction 1 composed of large crystalline blocks comprising particles of initial powder; the second fraction is represented by nanocrystalline blocks with the dimensions of not less than 8 nm; and the third fraction is an amorphous phase.
A decrease in the content and sizes (from 102to 25 nm) of initial microcrystals of fraction 1 is accompanied by the formation of X-ray amorphous phase 3.
At the initial stage of experiment, at the dose up to 15 kJ/g and the degree of amorphization up to 40%, the energy yield of the formation of amorphous phase amounts to 1 ± 0.1 mol/MJ.
