After 52 weeks, the HBeAg serum conversion rate of LAM + Tα1 group was 58. 1 % , and that of the LAM group was 21.9%. Comparing the results of the two groups, the difference was remarkable.
【Results】After lamivudine treatment,HBeAg negative rate was 40.38%,eAg/ anti-e serum conversion rate was 28.85%,the HBV DNA negative rate was 74.14%,the ALT recovery rate was 77.59%.
Methods:By genetic recombinant technique,have constructed 2 eukaryotic expressing plasmids namely pS2.S and pFP,encoding HBV envelope middle protein(preS2+HBsAg) and human leukocyte cytokines fusion protein(IL 2/IFN γ) genes respectively and evaluated its efficacy for inducing cellular immunity in healthy BALB/c mice and HBsAg serum conversion in HBV transgenic(Tg) mice after immunization of the plasmids by intramuscular administration.
Results: No significant difference was observed in liver function improvement between two groups (P>0.05). The treatment group achieved better results than contrast group in HBeAg serum conversion, HBV-DNA to negative and hepatic fibrosis indices (P<0.05).
Results Those ALT>3×ULN,HBV DNA<4.2×10~6 copies/ml before the treatment,and with virus response at an early stage have a high HBeAg seroconversion(P <0.01 or <0.05).
Lamivudine (25 mg/d) could effectively clear HBV DNA [97.7% vs. 22.2%, RR 4.41, 95%CI (2.86,6.79)] and improve histology response [59.3% vs. 30%, RR1.98, 95%CI (1.31,2.99)], but was not effective in HBeAg seroconversion.
Results After the treatment 52 weeks,the blood serum transformation rate of LAM+Tα1 treatment group is 61.3%(19/31),significantly higher than that of the LAM group 20.5%(7/34) obviously, P<0.05;
Results After treatmented for 12 months with lamivudine the negative conversion rate of serum HBV-DNA,the negative conversion rate of HBeAg,the seroconversion rate of HBeAg/HBeAb and normalization rate of ALT were 71.88%(23/32),25.93%(7/27),18.52%(5/27),62.50%(20/32) respectively.
Furthermore, it could be noted that the survival rate was high in groups in which the serum conversion rate was high, irrespective of the thymectomy at birth.
Serum conversion against 3ABC was first detected 8 days post-infection and demonstrable levels of 3ABC specific antibodies were detectable at least 1 year post-infection.
All patients who maintained viral replication showed generalized nuclear reactivity for HBcAg on presentation; such reactivity was also found in 16 of 31 (52%) patients who reached anti-HBeAg seroconversion.
The serological conversion rate following vaccination of the infants exhibiting transplacental maternal antibody was as low as 38%, in contrast with 100% sero-conversion of the infants without measurable antibodies of maternal origin.
Six weeks later a repeat Gd-DOTA CV-MRI showed an almost complete resolution of the areas of hyperenhancement and there was a significant reduction in the adenovirus antibody titer with serological conversion to IgG.
Infection rate of HBV in the high-risk population, such as dentists and the patients undertaking hemodialysis, was not higher than those in general population. The occurrence of the subclinical infection state might be resulted from hypo-responsiveness of humoral and cellular immunity to HBsAg. Of 257 cases of liver biopsy, 44% of them were diagnosed as chronic hepatitis of various categories. No relationship was found between the expression patterns of viral antigens and the inflammatory activity in the li...
