Variation of cutting rooting ability on masson pine ( Pinus massoniana Lamb.)among five provenances was studied. The time for callusing and rooting of cuttings from Ningming provenance Guangxi Province was the shortest,and Jiangning of Jiangsu and Ji'an of Jiangxi was the longest. Cuttings from Shaoguan of Guangdong Province was seriously rotted though the root effective index was high.The root rate of cuttings from Ningming provenance got up to eighty percent and Ji'an was thirty four percent. The result of variance on the cutting rooting characters showed that the root rate (F=15.255),the sum of adventitious roots (F=6.445),the sum of branch roots (F=4.006),the lenght of the longest root (F=13.170) and the total length of the roots (F=10.422) were notable. These all meant that the variation of rooting characters on the level of provenance was notable. According to the analysis on the time for rooting, root rate,rooting characters and the root effective indexes,cuttings from Ningming provenance was the best for cutting rooting and Ji'an was the worst. However,the potentiatlities of individual selection in Ji'an was large as the dispersion was the largest.Therefore,cuttings from ten ortets in Ji'an provenance were studied. All the cuttings were treated with root_inducing material compouned by the author. The result of the analysis on root characters showed, the clonal selection on individual level was also effective,No.3 was the best ortet and No.9 was the worst,and with the treatmeant of root_inducing material,the rooting rate was raised from thirty four percent to seventy point one percent.For this reason,to exploit the root_inducing and anti_rotting material and find best rooting enviornment condition for the clonal forestry on root_difficulty spieces was necessary and feasible. The correlation between the total length of adventitious roots and the diameter of the longest root was closest (r=0.9314),but the sum of the adventitious roots and branch roots negatively correlated (r=-0.3687).Consequently, to avoid the blindness, it was necessary to decide the characters as the target of selection.

The endogenous inhibitors in Masson pine( Pinus massoniana Lamb.)cuttings(MI n )from the ortets of five different provenances and from ten ortets in Jiangxi provenance,were purified and separated by the methods of extraction and high pressure liquid chromatography(HPLC).The properties of the MI n were preliminarily proofed by means of chemical detection and ultraviolet absorption spectra followed by biological assay with seed germination percentage of Pinus yunnanensis Franch.Seven components were found in each cutting,four were flavones and three were phenols.The rooting rate of each kind of cuttings negatively correlated with their MI n contents.The contents of MI n in different cuttings were compared by HPLC auto integrator.The relative contents of MI 2,MI 3,MI 4 and MI 5 in cuttings from the five provenances were notably different.MI 1,MI 6 and MI 7 were very notably different.The total relative content of MI n in Jiangxi provenance was the highest,and the lowest in Guangdong provenance.The relative content of MI 2 was notably correlated with longitude,but MI 4 and MI 5 were negatively correlated with latitude.The relative contents of MI 4,MI 6 and MI 7 in ten ortets from Jiangxi provenance were notably different,and MI 1,MI 2,MI 3 and MI 5 were very notably different.MI n in No.3 ortet was the highest and No.9 the lowest.These all held an identical result with the cutting rooting test.The exist of MI n in cuttings was one of the reasons why Masson pine cuttings were difficult to root and why rootability of each kind of cutting was variant.Stopping the express of the MI n genes would be the successful way for increassing the cutting rooting rate.

用浸渍、萃取和高效液相色谱法 (HPLC)对同龄马尾松不同种源和同种源 1 0个单株的插穗内源抑制物质 (MIn)进行分离提纯。对MIn作初步定性和生物鉴定。用HPLC自动积分仪法比较MIn各组分含量。研究结果表明MIn都含 7个组分 ,其中 4个组分属黄酮类 ,3个组分属苯酚类。种源间MI2 、MI3、MI4和MI5 差异显著 ,MI1 、MI6 和MI7含量具显著性差异。种源MI2 与经度呈显著正相关 ,MI4和MI5 与纬度呈显著负相关。江西吉安种源 1 0个单株间MI4、MI6 和MI7差异显著 ,MI1 、MI2 、MI3和MI5 含量差异极显著。MIn总相对含量以江西吉安为最高 ,广东韶关为最低。 1 0个单株MIn总相对含量以 3号母株为最低 ,9号母株为最高。MIn各组分抑制云南松种子发芽率的程度与其含量高低一致。MIn的存在是马尾松插穗难发根的原因之一 ,且MIn含量高低是不同种源插穗生根能力变异的重要原因。阻遏控制MIn的基因表达 ,将是提高马尾松扦插成活率的主要措施之一。
