The return loss of this filter is 31.53dB at the center frequency of 1.8GHz,and the minimum insertion loss in passband is 0.01dB,and the 3dB relative bandwidth is 19.44%.
The return loss of the new filter is 31.65dB at the center frequency of 1.8GHz,the minimum insertion is 0.01dB in passband and the 3dB fractional bandwidth is 19.44%.
Performance measurements of the fabricated VOA shows that the insert loss≤0.8 dB, the attenuation range≥50 dB, the return loss≤-45 dB, the wavelength dependent loss≤0.2 dB, the polarization dependence loss≤0.25 dB and the responding time<1 ms.
