Uranium extraction is thus not high with conventional acid leaching, more or less affected by all leaching parameters especially by the acidity. According to the composition and dissolution of the ore, the authors had investigated uranium leaching characteristics of the ore by using technologies of mineral separation and infrared spectrum analysis, etc. Soluble humic substances and acid-insoluble humic substances from the ore were separated from each other. The experimental results proved that the main cause of somewhat lower uranium extraction is due to the existence of acid-insoluble humic substances in the ore. It is proposed that properly increasing the free acidity during leaching is a technically and economically feasible measure for higher uranium extraction.

The minerals composition of Jiuquan's ores, the mineralogical character embeding iron mineral and the analysis of the separated products etc. was studied in this paper. The separation processes by HIMS were improved remarkably using jig in oider to pre-eliminating coarse grain tailings, the yield of 24.61% containing 11.59% Fe. In the case of much the same as the Fe recovery, the grade of Fe concentrate was increased by 2.5-3%.

本文通过对矿石矿物组成、铁矿物嵌布特性以及选矿产品的分析等研究,采用跳汰粗粒丢尾的预选作业,预先排除产率为24.61%,含铁11.95%的粗粒尾矿,显著地改善了强磁分选过程,在铁的回收率基本相同的情况下,铁精矿的品位可提高2.5—3%。
