A review of the achievements in transmission congestion management over the world in the latest 5 years is presented in the paper. New developments and existent problems of 2 classes of techniques (i.e. the system operation optimization and the transaction plan adjustment) in transmission congestion management are summarized systematically. Some other key issues involved in the congestion management are also discussed.

Objective To compare the effects of simulated weightlessness on age-related bone metabolism and on the mechanical parameters of the weight-bearing bones of rats at different ages. Methods Two-month-old and 6-month-old rats (8 in each group) were both subjected to tail suspension test for up to 4 weeks, with 2 groups of rats of corresponding ages (n=8) serving as control. Objective To compare the effects of simulated weightlessness on age-related bone metabolism and on the mechanical parameters of the weight-bearing bones of rats at different ages. Methods Two-month-old and 6-month-old rats (8 in each group) were both subjected to tail suspension test for up to 4 weeks, with 2 groups of rats of corresponding ages (n=8) serving as control. The bone metabolism markers, biomechanical parameters of the femurs, along with the growth and mineral contents of the tibia, were respectively measured and compared with those of the controls. Results The bone formation markers, alkaline phosphatase and osteocalcin levels, dropped drastically in both groups of rats undergoing tail suspension test (P<0.01), which also induced significiant hypocalcaemia (P<0.01). Except for elastic deformation (P>0.05), both structural and biomechanical properties altered significantly after tail suspension test (P<0.01), and the changes of maximum deformation and maximum load were related to the age of the rats (P<0.05). Bone material loss of the tibia occurred in both groups of rats receiving the test (P<0.01) whose effect on the volume and mass of fresh tibia was age-related (P<0.05), but the degree of mineral loss was not consistent with calcium loss in rats at different ages. Conclusion The result is an age-related difference in the response of bone metabolism to simulated weightlessness.

目的 比较模拟失重对不同发育阶段大鼠骨代谢和负重骨生物力学性能影响的差异。方法 对不同月龄SD大鼠尾吊4周后,以生化和放免法测动物骨代谢指标;生物材料试验机测负重骨生物力学性能;灰化法和原子吸收分光光度法测骨矿盐和钙量,并进行比较。结果 (1)尾吊4周,大鼠骨形成指标均显著下降(P<0.01);(2)尾吊鼠血清钙显著增加(P<0.01);(3)除弹性负荷外(P>0.05),尾吊使负重骨各力学指标均显著下降(P<0.01),且最大桡度和最大负荷下降与月龄有关(P<0.05);(4)尾吊对不同月龄鼠胫骨体积、湿重减少的影响不同(P<0.05);(5)年幼鼠骨矿盐含量减少4.32%,高于成年鼠的2.78%,但钙丢失为0.53%,远低于成年鼠的3.05%。结论 尾吊模拟失重对不同发育阶段大鼠骨代谢和负重骨生物力学性能变化的影响程度不同。
