The PID regulator is one of the most important industrial controlinstruments. It is widely used in industrial production process control. Although itis proved that current PID regulator is a optimal regulator for processes character-ized by Ke~(-TS)/(TS+1) or Ke~(-TS)/(T_1S+1)(T_2S+1), yet it exposes some disad-vantages. For example, it's functions are incomplete and it's turning parameters arecoupled with each other. Furthermore, these regulators cannot adapted to nonlinearor time-varying processes. This paper describes an advanced PID regulator from thepoint of view of classical and modern control theory. There are two features, i. e. itsderivative action acts only on the measuring path, and not the set point's path; theintegral feedback signal is fed from external, and not internal. This paper analysisadaptability of the regulator to cascade control system, float-limit control systemand override control system for protection from the integral windup. PID regulatorshould be improved, to suit nonlinear and time-varying processes, specially itrequired that developed diversify function in respect to nonlinear PID regulatorand adaptive PID regulator. Finally, this paper describes a dual-mode regulator withstate-variabe dynamic compensation which is very useful for processes with quickresponse and large disturbance.

PID调节器是重要的工业仪表之一,虽然曾经证明它对过程特性为Ke~(-τs)/TS++1或者Ke~(-τs)/(T_1S+T_2S)而言是一种最佳调节器,但在实践中也暴露了某些缺点。本文根据古典控制理论和现代控制理论,叙述一种改进型的PID调节器。这种调节器微分作用只通过测量通道,而不通过给定通道;积分反馈信号只取自外部,而不是内部。本文还分析这种调节器应用于串级控制统统,浮动限幅控制系统与取代控制系统防止积分饱和的适用性。PID调节器需要进一步发展,以适应非线性与时变过程的需要。本文也叙述一种具有状态变量动态补偿的双模调节器,此调节器对于快速响应对象及大扰动对象是很有用处的。

In this paper, the governing process of gates is firstly analysed, and then the mathematical models of the operation of upstream constant level gate and that of downstream one are given. By using elassical automatic control theory, the stability of the operation of the gates is analysed, and the critical conditions of the stable functioning are given. Finally, the ways and methods for improving the stability of the operation of the gates are provided.

本文首先分析了闸门的调节过程,然后给出了上游常水位闸门和下游常水位闸门工作的数学模型。应用古典控制理论,分析了闸门运行的稳定性,给出了稳定运行的判别条件。最后,指出了改善闸门运行稳定性的途径和方法。
