1960年9月13日我国实用探空火箭——探空七号气象火箭首次发射成功,揭开了我国火箭探空活动的序幕。自那时以来,我国火箭探空事业取得了显著进展。在过去的30年间,我国共发射了17种型号的探空火箭;此外,一种新型号探空火箭——织女三号高空研究火箭也将于近年内发射。本文从火箭气象探测、火箭生物试验、火箭大气取样、火箭试验研究等四个方面对此进行概略回顾。

The successful launching of sounding rocket ZN-3 (Vega 3) is a milestone in China's upper atmosphere exploration. The ZN-3 rocket sounding system is designed to measure atmospheric parameters to a height of 120km, it is essential field in space physical study and man-ned space flight. The ideal Hainan launching site provides as well as few of low latitute complex observing places.

中国科学院空间科学与应用研究中心等单位于1991年1月在海南探空火箭发射场成功地发射了两枚织女三号探空火箭,它为我国火箭探空系统增加了120公里的探空手段。海南大箭发射场为我国空间环境探测,以及低纬度地区的综合观测提供了良好的场所。

Great achievements have been made in rocket sounding by China.

火箭探空是空间事业的一个组成部分,它的活动舞台主要为稀薄大气层所占据的空间,活动成果丰富了人类对自然界的认识、促进了空间科学的发展。用于火箭探空的运载上具——探空火箭业已实现了固体化、轻型化、系列化等方面的变革,并正在开发新的领域。中国在这方面也取得了可喜的成果。
