The simple geometric analysis of tooth bearing zone, howevevr, is an extremely useful basis for gear cutting. This paper discusses in particular detail the relation between two bearing zones of hypoid gears, which is very useful to the cutting of that kind of gears. And finally it proves the conformity of the "diagonal contact factor" method in the conventional theory of bevel gear with the theory in this paper.

This article is intended to demonstrate, by the testing of the plate fin aircooler model, that the Lewis relation is valid for the finned tube aircooler under wet conditions. The average surface temperature of the finned tube aircooler can be determined by the linear law (the inlet, outlet and the surface saturated air on the same line in the I-d diagram). Provided the surface temperature is determined, it is easy to calculate the sensible heat film coefficient α_c on the air side under wet conditions.

In addition, based upon both of the calculation formula for homogeneous soil and the research of equivalent resistivity of twolayer soil the approximate formulae calculating the contact and step potential of ground grid are also presented here, the precision and applicability of those formulae meet the needs of engineering prac-tice.

本文利用地网接地参数通用计算程序(CGP3)的检验说明了现有国内外地网最大接触电势计算公式的误差,并将其计算的大量结果进行数学拟合,提出改进的新公式。此外,在均匀土壤计算公式和等值双层土壤电阻率的研究基础上,推导出了双层土壤地网接触系数和跨步系数的近似计算公式。它们的精度及使用范围都能满足工程实际的需要。
