A method for fast measuring the diffuse EMS granularity of B/W film was described. A wedge print of the same film is measured with a normal diffuse densitometer step by step. The same print is then measured by a microdensitometer to get the instrument density of each step. Using the two sets of density obtained the computer can construct a conversion table stored in disk. After this the instrument density can be converted to diffuse density by computer one by one very rapidly when the microdensitometer scans...

本工作采用计算机查表的方法实现了用普通的微密度计作胶片的漫射均方根粒度的测定。用胶片的一条光楔在常规的漫射密度计上测出一组漫射密度值,再在由计算机控制的微密度计上测出对应的仪器密度值。通过计算机插值做出两种密度的转换表。微密度计扫描测定粒度时,计算机自动查表迅速地将测定的每一个仪器密度值转换成漫射密度,从而给出漫射均方根粒度结果。实验测定了几种胶片的粒度数据及q因子随净密度的变化关系。
