With the development of the national economy, the synthetical use of useful associated elements has become an important subfect today.There are rich contents of sulphur,gold and copper in sulphur-iron deposits of the Tianebaodan hills.The associated gold reserves found there have important economic value.Through investigation the existing state of gold was found, the carrier minerals of gold were magneticypyrite, the fine-grained gold accounted for 86%,the average grade of gold was 2.97g/T.By means of mathematical statistics and other methods, the gold and arsenic were found to be of positive interrelationship. The intergrowth between the gold and other minerals was rather complex, contact boundaries were zigzagged. So this type of ore belongs to the difficult one to liberate.The results obtained in this study lead to the conclusion: that gravity separation is not suitable for this kind of ore, bulk flotation or cyanida-tion and amolgamation can be used for rising the recovery of gold.
