Ternary Zr_(50)Cu_(40)Al_(10) bulk metallic glass(BMG) with different oxygen contents was fabricated by tilt casting method adopting ladle-hearth-type arc furnace for different raw zirconium materials.The effects of oxygen on the thermal stability and the crystallization kinetics of the ternary alloy were investigated.It is shown that the thermal stability of the alloy is seriously decreased and the crystallization apparent activation energy clearly increased with increasing oxygen concentration during this process.Oxygen reduces the thermal stability of the alloy by raising the crystallization reaction constant.An expected corresponding relationship between the thermal stability of the alloy and the crystallization reaction constant is demonstrated.Crystallization reaction constant perfectly characterizes BMG crystallization process with a strong kinetic effect.

利用不同锆原材料、采用电弧炉坩埚倾斜铸造法制备了具有不同氧含量的Zr50Cu40Al10三元锆基块体金属玻璃,研究了氧对合金热稳定性及晶化动力学的影响.研究结果表明:合金的热稳定性随其氧含量的增加而降低,但晶化表观激活能却随氧含量的增加而增加;氧是通过提高晶化反应速率常数而降低合金热稳定性的,热稳定性与反应速率常数之间存在良好的对应关系,反应速率常数可以较好地表征具有强烈动力学效应的块体金属玻璃晶化过程;氧提高合金晶化反应速率常数的原因是由于它增大了反应的频率因子.

Crystal Zr bar and sponge Zr were employed as raw materials to prepare wedge-like specimens of Zr_(52.5) Cu_(17.9) Ni_(14.6) Al_(10) Ti_5 bulk amorphous alloy with different oxygen impurity contents by a tilt casting method using ladle hearth type arc furnace.Effects of oxygen impurity on the alloy's glass forming ability and thermal stability were investigated.It is shown that the glass forming ability of the quinary alloy characterized by maximum amorphous sample forming thickness t_(max) was decreased as oxygen impurity content increased, on the contrary, its thermal stability characterized by supercooled liquid region ΔT_(x1) was enhanced.Oxygen impurity has the tendency to heighten the apparent activation energy E_(ax1) for the crystallization process onset of the amorphous alloy, which made the crystallization incubation period of the alloy under larger supercooled state lengthened and thereby the thermal stability enhanced.

以结晶Zr棒及海绵Zr为原材料、利用浇包型坩埚电弧炉倾斜铸造法制备了不同氧杂质含量的Zr_(52.5)Cu_(17.9)Ni_(14.6)Al_(10)Ti_5块体非晶合金楔形试样,研究了氧对合金玻璃形成能力及热稳定性的影响,结果表明:氧杂质虽然降低合金以最大非晶形成厚度t_(max)为表征的玻璃形成能力,却提高合金以过冷液相区温度范围△T_(x1)为表征的热稳定性,氧杂质具有提高合金开始晶化表观激活能E_(ax1)的趋势。
