The main results of this paper are as follows:( 1 ) implicit assumption in the following equation ( Beddington et al. , 1976 ) is discussed.One of the most important points is that no allowance is made in this equation for the discontinuity of development rates at the neigbourhood of the constant B. In order to describe the discontinuty mentioned above,a general formula is advanced:(2)Where,1/d is the development rate of predator , X is the biomass that the predator ingested, IV is prey density and F(X(N)) is a function which may be linear or in the other form . It is supposed that the discontinuity property of the development rate at the neigbourhood of the threshold B is a general rule of the numerical response. ( 2 ) The relationship between biomass comsumed and the growth rate of the larva of Scymnus hoffmanni is discussed. The result shows that the larve of three and four instars can live till the next stage at a negative growth rate when they eat fewer aphids. ( 3 ) The larva at the stage of two and three instars has high tolerable level for hunger, but the period from the first instar and the fourth instar is the hunger-sensitive period (fig. 5) .The number of prey eaten of i - 1 instar can influence the survival and development rates of i i-nstar (Tab 2) . (4) Both feeding rates of the larva and adult have important influence on fecundity (Fig. 6 (a, b)), but the influence on the weight of egg and its hatching rate is statistically of nonsignificance.

This paper deals with experiments on the influence of the temperature on the developmental and the reproductive rates of Amblyseius deleoni, its functional and numerical response to panonychus citri, and the selecting capture ability to different developmental periods of the citri red mite.

The results clearly showed that the fecundity of A. deleoni (F) was related to temperature (t): F=204.48-5.268t (15°≤t≤30℃) and the reproductive coefficient of A. deleoni (R) was related to the degree of eating enough (E): R=1/[1+26.15exp (-9.58E)]. Computer simulation on the dynamics of both A. deleoni and citrus red mite suggested that the best releasing number of the predator is in the pro- poration of 1:21 to 1:10 (A. deleoni to citrus red mite), the best releasing stage of the predator is egg and the best time is on the high density of the immature stages of citrus red mite.

本文研究了德氏钝绥螨发育速率、繁殖率与温度的关系以及德氏钝绥螨对桔全爪螨的功能反应、数值反应及不同螨态的选择捕食作用。在此基础上,组建了德氏钝绥螨—桔全爪螨种群数量变动的模拟模型,并在四种不同释放钝绥螨的条件下,进行了桔全爪螨种群数量变动的模拟实验,从而得出了最佳的释放钝绥螨时间、数量、频率及螨态。
