The effect of small additions of Bi2O3, acetylene black (AB) on the performance of anodic polarization of porous zinc electrodes in alkaline electrolyte, zinc deposits morphology and self- discharge rates has been studied. The mixture of both additives has yielded statistically significant results in improving the performance of zinc electrodes. In addition, the effect of Bi2O3 on the nuclcation of zinc was investigated by Pt micro-disc electrodes.

研究添加少量Bi_2O_3、乙炔黑(AB)对多孔锌电极在碱性溶液中的阳极行为,电结晶形态及自放电速率的影响,得出采用复合添加剂对改善锌电极的性能具有显著的效果,在电流密度为100~400mA/cm~2下,放电性能优于含HgO锌电极,且适于在强电流密度放电,同时,用微电极技术研究,发现添加Bi_2O_3可提高成核速率,改变沉积形态,实验表明,添加Bi_2O_3可减少电极的变形,提高循环寿命;能有效地减缓电极的钝化,防止单电池的反极现象并可抑制因添加AB而引起析氢速率加快的作用。因此,对二次电池特别储备电池具有明显优点和实用价值。

The Character of the by-product carbon black from crude oil cracking and the effect of its use in different amounts on dry cell performances were studied. Repeated tests and trial productions proved that the battery products are stable in quality and this kind of carbon black may be widely used as a substitute for acetylene black in the production of dry batteries.

本文从副产碳黑特性以及不同用量对电池性能影响进行了探讨,经过多次验证和投产应用,电池性能稳定,可作为乙炔黑的代用品在锌锰干电池中进行推广应用。
