This article, from music perspective, interpreted The Book of Songs and believed that it was the first words of song book in Chinese history. Analyzing The Book of Songs from aspects of sentence rhythm, metre and rhyme transformation, and dividing chapters, this paper also believed that repetition on the same rhyme was its basic pattern, on which the pattern of following generation folk songs were based.

音乐学的角度来解读《诗经》,认为它是中国音乐史上第一部歌词集。在乐谱无传的情况下,通过对《诗经》文本的节奏句式、韵部转换和章节划分三个方面的考察,在杨荫浏先生的研究基础上,作了更全面细致的分析,认为同调反复的分节歌形式是《诗经》时代的基本曲式,而后代民歌与艺术歌曲的一些常见曲式,在《诗经》时代已基本具备。
