A subminimum variance (SMV) design method for self-tuning controller is proposed in this paper, which may damp the oscillation caused by the oscillating zoros of pelynormial B(Z~(-1)). Both the transfer function analysis and simulation show the effectiveness of the proposed method. SMV controller will converge to MV controller in steady state. The SMV algorithm is simple and easy to imple- ment. However, SMV method can not be applied io nonminimum phase systems.

The absorption infor- mation can be used not only to indicate lithology and hydrocarbon resource but also to calculate Q for Q compensation. Two concepts of effective absorption coefficient and absorption coefficient are adopted in the study of absorption information. The theory and algorithm for extracting absorption information from seismic record are also expoun- ded. First, the effective absorption coefficient, which can be conver- ted into Q, is calculated in frequency domain using frequency spectrum ratio; then the real absorption coefficient is obtained in time domain using amplitude ratio and constant b that was taken in frequency domain. In order to extract absorption informaton accurately, we use seve- ral algorithms, which have been trially and practically proved to be effective.

衰减吸收信息是从反射地震资料中提取的重要信息之一,其变化范围可高达两个数量级之多,因此,反映地质异常的灵敏度较高。利用它不仅可划分地层岩性,预测油气,而且可求取用作Q补偿的Q值。本文在对衰减吸收信息的研究中,明确地给出了有效衰减吸收系数和衰减吸收系数的概念,并着重论述了从实际地震资料中提取衰减吸收信息的理论依据和实用算法。文中首先在频率域利用频谱比计算有效衰减吸收系数,经转换得到Q值,然后再回到时间域利用振幅比和在频域中求得的常数b,计算出真正的衰减吸收系数。为了提高提取信息的精度,在方法实现上提出了多种算法。通过对所编制软件的试算和实际处理表明,这些算法是很有效的。
