We studied the spontaneous emission from a three level atom with an external driving field in a photonic crystal. As a result of quantum interference and photon localization, the population in the two upper levels displays quasi oscillatory or oscillatory behavior. It depends on the initial atomic state and the relative position of the two upper levels from the forbidden gap. The intensity and phase of the external field can also control spontaneous emission from the atom.

A new method based on the Partial Element Equivalent Circuit(PEEC) method was presented to analyze Electromagnetic Compatibility(EMC) on Printed Circuit Boards(PCB). The new method can be divided into two steps: the current distribution of the traces on PCBs can be evaluated with PEEC method, and the total radiated fields can be calculated through summing all field vectors produced by all current elements on PCBs. The proposed method is proved available to EMC problems on PCBs by comparing with other method....

The proposed method is proved available to EMC problems on PCBs by comparing with other method. The radiated emissions from a symmetrical and an asymmetrical PCB layout were evaluated. Some results and layout regulations were presented.

提出了基于部分元等效电路 (PEEC)方法求解印制板电路电磁兼容问题的新方法 .即将印制板电路的辐射问题分为两步 :(1 )用部分元等效电路的方法确定印制板导体上的场源 (电流 )分布 ;(2 )将所有电流元的辐射场进行叠加求总的辐射场 .文中对上述方法进行了分析 ,在此基础上通过一个对称电路和一个非对称电路的辐射场计算 ,提出了一些工程设计中减小辐射的设计准则 .
