An alluvial fan-delta, covering an area of 2,500 square kilometers, is formed at the foot of Yanshan mountains along the shore of Bohai Sea. The northern part of the complex consists of two upwairdfining post-glacial sedimentary sequences,in which no marine faunas are found; while in the southern part, the post-glacial formations are made up of an upward-fining sequence in the lowerpart and an upward-coarsing sequence in the upper part, both containing marine faunas. The lower part of the post-glacial sequence was deposited in the courseof transgression. With the rise of sea level and the datum plane in post-glacial time, sea water advanced into the land along the river valley. At the same time, accumulation of retrogressive deposits took, place in the lower reaches that filled in the river valley and formed the lower part of the sequence. The distance covered by retrogressive accumulations far excee dedthat of sea water. Marine faunas can only be found in the sequence within the reach of sea water, beyond which are continental beds without such fossils. Therefore, the transgressive sequences in the valley, with or withoutmarine faunas, are formed in a unified sedimentary process, so that the fluvial deposits in the north and the deltaic deposits in the south that constitute the upper part of the postglacial sequence are genetically related.

滦河经燕山山脉流入渤海,全长1200公里,年迳流量45.5亿米~3,年输沙量1900万吨。滦河于滦县出山口,在燕山山麓渤海之滨形成了面积约2500平方公里的冲积扇一三角洲。滦河冲积扇—三角洲的北部,冰后期沉积层由两个下粗上细的沉积层序构成,其中未发现海相生物,南部则由下段的下粗上细和上段的下细上粗层序构成,且含海相生物微体化石。冰后期沉积层的下部是在海进过程中形成的。冰后期海面上升,基面抬高,海水沿河进侵,同时河流下游出现溯源堆积。溯源堆积使河流充填,产生冰后期沉积层下部沉积层序。溯源堆积的距离远远超过海水溯河而上所能达到的距离。在海水影响可以到达的地方,海进河床充填层序含海相微体生物,而溯源堆积可以到达,而海水影响所不及的地方,海进河流充填层序不含海相生物,为陆相层。因此,海进河床充填层序,不论其含海相生物与否,都是由统一的沉积过程形成的。冰后期沉积层的上段,北部为河流层序,南部为三角洲层序,二者是在海退过程中沉积的,其成因联系是显而易见的。三角洲系海退沉积,但其形成是以海进作为前导,并由海进转化为海退。由此,滦河冲积扇—三角洲是成因上互相联系的。

In the lake basin exist many sand bodies, which can be classified into three major types: underwater fan, fan delta and delta. The seismic respon- ses of these sand bodies differ from each other because of their dif- ferent depositional environments, source materials and hydraulic mi- gration conditions. Underwater fan is a near-mountain-coast sand body whose source material came from the surrounding mountain area. The underwater fan brings the reflection configuration: strong top and bottom reflec- tions outlining its wedge shape, top reflections showing overlaps, rare reflections inside and at proximal part, continuous reflections at middle part and weak reflections at distal part. Fan delta is progradational alluvial fan created by swift braided channel emptying into sea or lake, and lies at the front side of active continental margin. It has the shape of convex lens and shows a dis- tinct progradational reflection configuration. Delta is river sediment lying at the meeting area of a river and the sea basin. The sedimentary sequence is usually thick. The progra- dational reflection configuration is dominantly oblique, and seldom in "S", pattern. The three kinds of sand bodies are proved favourable to hydrocar- bon accumulation.

渤海湾盆地在早第三纪是由多个断块组成的。后由于受扭转运动,形成了周围多山、湖中多岛的古地理环境,发育了较多的砂岩体,其主要类型是水下扇、扇三角洲和三角洲砂岩体。因不同类型的砂岩体形成时的古地理环境、物源供给和水动力条件不同,其地震响应也各不相同。水下扇是由近临山区直接冲积入湖后在陡崖沉积的砂岩体。其顶底反射能量较强,构成扇体的楔状外形,扇顶反射多有超覆,扇体内部和扇根为零星反射,中部连续性变好,扇端反射能量变弱。扇三角洲是前积到海洋或湖泊环境中的冲积扇,位于活动的大陆边缘的边部,是高梯度辫状河流进入蓄水盆地的沉积体,外形呈上凸下凹,有明显的前积反射结构。三角洲是河流携带的泥砂在湖滨岸形成的沉积体,三角洲层序厚度大,前积结构以切线斜交为主,间有“S”型出现。实践证明,上述三种砂岩体是油气的聚集有利场所。

The mid-seventies is the period of full bloom in delta sedimentation researches on large rivers abroad, but the papers on delta sedimentation were published in the late seventies and the early-eighties in China. Recently delta studies are concentrating on fan-deltas and transgressive channel-filling sequence. The deltaic sedimentation studies contribute a favourable condition for comparison between deltaic sedim-etary systems in North and South China, which includes their general and distinct charactereristics....

根据我国南北方三角洲沉积的特点,提出三角洲沉积体系的共性和特殊性。三角洲的共性包括基本相带的分布,垂直层序和海进河床充填层序;特殊性则是指三角洲砂体的组合、某些相指标,三角洲发育速度和改造程度。海进时溯源堆积在古河谷内形成了海进河床充填层序,而涨潮流和溯源堆积使该层序含某些海陆过渡相特征。南北方河流对已形成的三角洲层序改造程度有明显差异,这是由于南北方构造和气候条件不同所致。
