The influence of lanthanum on the microstructures of the Al-Mg-Zn alloys containing vanadium has been investigated by X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy and EPMA techniques. It was shown that the addition of a small quantity of La could refine the grains in the alloys obviously. The average diameter of the grains reduced from 90 to 52μm(or the number of the grains on the section observed by optical microsopy would increase from 1.57×10~4 to 4.70×10~4 l/cm~2)when a small quantity of La was added to to the alloys. It reduced the number N of blowholes on the section observed by microscopy from 8.0×10~4 to 1.6×10~4 l/cm~2. The varied tendency of the number of blowholes with La contents is similar to that of the average diameter of grains with La contents. The shorter the average diameter, the less is the number of blowholes. La reduced the phase region and the solubility of vanadium in α-phase. As increase of La added in the alloy, the phaes existed in the alloy were the bluck phase Al_(10)V and point compound(La, Zn) besides the original α-phase and lanth phase τ without La.

The microsegregation of as-casting structure was eliminated as the steel diffusion annealed at 1250℃ for 12 Hr.

通过电于探针和透射电镜的观察,发现电渣重熔Mn18Cr18N钢的铸态组织主要由奥氏体和大块磁化物组成.晶界上有少量的条状相(铁素体、氮化物)。采用1250℃12h的高温扩散退人可以消除铸态组织的显微偏析而使成分均匀。
