It is shown that through the use of a catalytic system containing several photosensitizers, the simultaneous utilization of energy of lights with different wavelengths will be possible.

The fact that phenylthiylradical is linked to the carbon adjacent to bromine atom showed that the orientation of addition is independent of selective polar effects and that the relative stability of intermediate free radical involved is the determining factor, since the conjugative effect of the phenyl group is greater than that of bromine atom. From the results reported in this paper and the preceding papers it is seen that the effect of substituents linked, to multiple bonds on the stability of the intermediate radical decreases in the following order: C_6H_5>COOC_2H_5>COOH>CH_3, C_2H_5>H C_6H_5>Br(Cl)>CH_3, C_2H_5>HWhen the reaction with thiophend and phenylacetylenebtomide was carried under the ethoxide-catalysed condition,the same product was obtained.
