The technology offers a product which has the key properties of being temperature-resistant(130℃),hard water-resistant(mineralization 2 myriad),higher swellable ratio(about 120 fold)and certain anti-break strength.

An effective collector-COA (Chlorinated Oleic Acid )has been developed, which is characterized by hard-water proofing and low temperature resistance. Its behaviour of flotation of hematite is studied. In addition, the authors discuss the influence of Ca~(2+) and Mg~(2+) ions on flotation separation of artificial hematite-quartz mixture(1:1)and the mechanism of action of COA on hematite surfaces.
In this paper we have developed a complexing fatliquor for leather which is prepared from modified cotton seed oil.The fatliquor is characterised by its high amounts of active components, great bound ability and good stability to acids, alkslies, electrolytes and chrome - tanned liquors, as well as good stability to hard water.It is used as excellent fatliquoring material for sophisticated leathers like garments and uppers.
