Breaking wave at the bow of a fast displacement ship model
      
We investigated the flow structures under the bow wave generated by a fast displacement ship model (INSEAN model 2340) in the presence of wave breaking.
      
One reason for that study is that displacement ship skin friction resistance component occupies about 80% of the total resistance.
      


According to Uniform Design method, a stern flap series is designed. From their test results, an optimized stern flap is chosen. The resistance of a displacement ship can be re- duced over 4 percent by fitting the optimized stern flap near the cruising speed. It is shown that the Uniform Design is a useful method in test design.

本文利用均匀设计法设计了一个尾压浪板系列,从中优化出一个方案,解决排水型船加装尾压浪板在巡航速度附近减阻的问题。减阻效果达裸船体阻力的4%以上。对尾压浪板在排水型船上减阻的机理进行了初步分析,得到船后体压力变化是尾压浪板对主船体减阻主要原因这一结论。

The results show that the method can satisfactorily predict the motion response characteristics for high speed displacement vessels.

给出一种基于高速细长体理论的预报高速排水型船在波浪上运动性能的数值方法。在高速细长体理论的定解条件中 ,自由面条件是三维的 ,而控制方程和物面条件则是二维的。采用时域自由面 Green函数将定解问题转化为物面上的积分方程 ,进而求解水动力系数和船舶运动方程。对NPL 系列单体船型的运动性能作了理论预报 ,并与实验结果和用切片法的理论预报结果作了比较。结果表明 ,高速细长体理论的预报结果与试验结果更为接近 ,而切片理论由于受到纯二维假定的限制 ,在高航速情况下 ,预报精度较差。
