It was found to survive in an internally infected shrimp after being boiled for up 5 min. Recently, this organism has been implicated as a causative agent in several outbreaks of the food-borne Listeriosis in North America and Europe. The current recovery methodology for L. monocytogenes from seafoods is the FOod and Drug Administration (FDA). The Listeria protocol is established both in America and China.
