The rate of ras gene mutations in HPV positive patients and HPV negative patients were 11.11%(2/18) and 31.82%(7/22) respectively. There was no significant difference between them(χ 2= 1.391 7 ,P>0.05).
MATERIAL AND METHODS: L-02 cells were treated consecutively with 300 μmol/L of MX for 12 days and genome DNA was extracted after cell harvesting. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was used as solvent control. Ras genes(K-ras,H-ras,N-ras) sequences including 12, 13 and 61 codons were tested using the PCR-clone and sequencing with the genome DNA from the cells.
3. For evaluation of 3 and 5 years survival rate, the positive expression of p53, C-erbB-2 and Ras genes in gastric cancer patients leaded to shorter survival time than the negative expression (P<0.05 and P<0.01).
\ Conclution\ The expression of rasp21 in patients with MDS had some relation to leukemic transformation. Immunocytochemical detection of rasp21 expression may detect the activation of ras oncogene and monitor AML evolution in patients with MDS.
The patterns of linkage disequilibrium in RAS genes have also been reported in different populations.
In this review, the linkage disequilibrium among the polymorphisms within the four RAS genes and current association analyses involving the RAS are discussed, as well as some of the gaps of knowledge and possible solutions.
The specific anti-tumor immune response induced by mouse bone marrow dendritic cells (DCs) transfected with recombinant adenovirus carrying mutant k-ras genes was investigated.
It was concluded that special antitumor response could be induced by DCs transfected with recombinant adenovirus carrying mutant k-ras genes.
In thyroid papillary carcinomas at least three initiating events may occur, which are point mutations in the BRAF and RAS genes and RET/PTC rearrangements.
