Organic acid exudation from the roots of Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) and Masson pine (Pinus massoniana) seedlings under low phosphorus stress was studied using the solution culture method.

The strengths of handsheet were as following:breaking length 5790-6850m, bursting strength 2.6-3.7kg/cm2, which were ligher than that of Shanghai Techincal Standard Q/QB 220035-64.

Resin acids in oleoresins and branches from ninteen pine tree species as well as the compositions of terpenes in turpentines from several pine species were studied. The relationships between chemical constituents and species (Pinus massoniana Lamb. , P. yunnanensis Franch. , P. kesiya Royle ex Gord. var. langbianensis ( A. Chev. ) Gaussen, P. latteri Mason, P. elliottii Engelm., P. armandi Franch. ) were investigated and the data of taxonomical interest were provided. It was found that resin acids in branches consist of more dehydroabietic acid and less abietic type acids, while in the case of oleoresins, the fact is quite the contrary. It was thought accordingly that a physiological conversion process between dehydroabietic acid and abietic type acids, especially palustric acid, may be present. Resin content and its resin acid constituents in branches are closely related to the extent of Matsucoccus matsumurae Kuwana attack, the higher resin and abietic type acid contents, the more severity of attack can occur. Meanwhile, ranges of geographic variance of monoter-pene, sesquiterpene and resin acids in oleoresins from P. massoniana Lamb. were also examined.

研究与归纳了十九种松树松脂、枝条中的树脂酸,以及数种松树松节油中萜烯的化学组成;探讨了马尾松、湿地松、华山松、南亚松、思茅松、云南松等的树脂化学组成与树种之间的关系,为上述松树化学分类再次提供数据。发现枝条树脂酸中含有大量去氢枞酸和少量的枞酸型酸,在松脂中此二类酸含量关系恰好相反,认为在生理上可能存在一个去氢枞酸与枞酸型酸,特别是长叶松酸之间的转化过程。枝条中树脂含量、树脂酸组成与遭受松干蚧(Matsucoccus matsumurae Kuwana)危害的程度存在一种明显的关系,树脂含量愈高,树脂酸中枞酸型酸含量愈高,愈易遭受危害。同时还考察了马尾松松脂中单萜、倍半萜烯、树脂酸组成在地理分布上的变异范围。
