    On the assumption of "Y", a three-dimensional model is obtained for the linear acoustic combustion in a rocket motor. The one-dimensional model obtained from the Y-three-dimensional model is in excellant agreement with the one-dimensional analysis by Culick. Electic propujsion systems will be used for high impulse tasks such as drag compensation and orbit transfer.
