We have studied the mechanism of the anisotropic property of degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) signal intensity in nematic liquid crystal doped with dye. Such property originates from two sources. One of them is due to the anisotropic absorption of dye molecules. The other is due to the optical birefringence of liquid crystal in its nematic phase.

Second, this new framework introduces a high efficiency shape and anatomy prior constraints model. The experiments on the cardiac MR images show the Diffusion Level Set can get nice result.

针对单一模型难以有效分割心脏MR图像中左心室内外壁的难点,提出一种混合模型,首先将有较高效率的反几何扩散模型嵌入水平集方法,吸收各向异性扩散方法的优点,基于一条初始演化曲线就可以同时完成对左心室内外壁轮廓的分割;随后,在新的扩散水平集框架下引入一种快速形状约束和解剖学约束,修正分割结果。对心脏MR图像的分割试验表明,带先验约束的扩散水平集混合模型对左心室内外壁轮廓的分割结果较为理想。
