The adsorption isotherms of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), tetradecyl-trimethylammonium bromide (TTAB) and tetradecylpyridinium bromide (TPB) from their single and binary mixed aqueous solutions en silica gel at 25℃ have been determined. The results show that (1) the isotherms from single and mixed solutions are all characterized by two plateaux; (2) in the mixed systems, the adsorption amount of each component is decreased at low and high concentration range, but increased at medium concentration range;...

The results show that (1) the isotherms from single and mixed solutions are all characterized by two plateaux; (2) in the mixed systems, the adsorption amount of each component is decreased at low and high concentration range, but increased at medium concentration range; (3) the isotherms of total adsorption amount vs. total concentration in the mixed systems lie between those of the pure components of which the systems consist, but more close to those of the components haying higher surface activity. It is suggested that the adsorption properties in the mixed systems are determined dominantly by the higher surface active components. The minimum aggregation number of the hemimicelle, calculated according to the assumption that each adsorbed surfactant molecule is an independent adsorption centre at hemimicelle concentration (HMC), is in the range of 6-11.

By adding hydrophilic cyclohexanone as a spread assistant, poly(4-methyl pentene-1) (PMP) ultrathin membranes were prepared by themethod of spreading solution on water surface. The effect of cyclohexanoneconcentration in the membrane-forming solutions on surface properties andspreading capacity was investigated. It was found that the spreading coeffcientof PMP solution on water surface increased, and the thickness of membraneprepared from these solutions decreased with the increasing of cyclohexanoneconcentration....

The effect of cyclohexanoneconcentration in the membrane-forming solutions on surface properties andspreading capacity was investigated. It was found that the spreading coeffcientof PMP solution on water surface increased, and the thickness of membraneprepared from these solutions decreased with the increasing of cyclohexanoneconcentration. For the ternary solutions of PMP/ cyclohexanone/ cyclohexane in weight ratio of 2: x: 98-x (x=0.5~20), the ultrathinmembranes in thickness range of 10~25 nm were obtained.

在聚4-甲基戊烯-1(PMP)的环已烷溶液中,加入对水有一定亲合性的第三组分环已酮作为展开助剂,研究了该三组分溶液体系的界面性质与溶液在水面上展开程度的关系。发现环已酮的加入明显降低了PMP溶液对水的界面张力,使得溶液在水面上的展开系数大为增加,得以制备厚度为10~25nm的PMP超薄膜。
