HT-7U Tokamak, Which has been funded as a Chinese national science project, is a fully superconducting experimental device for nuclear fusion. The machine, consists of 16 toroidal field(TF) coils and 12 ploidal field(PF) coils,is cooled with 4.2K and 3.8K supercritical helium respectively. Cernox,a new type low temperature sensor, Cernox is adopted for measurement of coils system. The development of facility and the calibrating results are described in this paper.

Based on the intermediate energy radioactive Ion Beam Line in Lanzhou (RIBLL) of Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou(HIRFL) and Low Energy Radioactive Ion Beam Line (GIRAFFE) of Beijing National Tandem Accelerator Lab (HI-13) the radioactive ion beam physics and nuclear astrophysics will be researched in detail. The key scientific problems which will be researched as high priority are: the nuclear structure and reaction for nucleus far from β-stability line; the syntheses of new nuclides near drip...

Based on the intermediate energy radioactive Ion Beam Line in Lanzhou (RIBLL) of Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou(HIRFL) and Low Energy Radioactive Ion Beam Line (GIRAFFE) of Beijing National Tandem Accelerator Lab (HI-13) the radioactive ion beam physics and nuclear astrophysics will be researched in detail. The key scientific problems which will be researched as high priority are: the nuclear structure and reaction for nucleus far from β-stability line; the syntheses of new nuclides near drip lines and new super heavy nuclides; the properties of asymmetric nuclear matter with extra large isospin and some nuclear astroreactions. This project is divided into 7 major important tasks:(1) halo nucleus; (2) syntheses of new nuclides near the drip line and super heavy nuclides; (3) the structure and reaction with neutron rich nucleus;(4) the structure and reaction with proton rich nucleus; (5) the isospin dependence of high spin states; (6) some important nuclear astroreaction; (7) systematic theoretical research.This project will be the base of scientific goals of National Big Science Project:"Cooler Storage Ring (CSR)" in Lanzhou which will be fulfilled in 2005 on the schedule. Recent progress of this project is described shortly also.

基于兰州重离子加速器国家实验室 (HIRFL )的中能放射性核束线 (RIBLL)及北京串列加速器国家实验室 (HI- 1 3 )的低能放射性核束线 (GIRAFFE) ,开展放射性核束物理和核天体物理研究 ,拟解决的关键科学问题是 :远离β稳定线核的结构与反应 ;超重新核素及近滴线核素的合成和性质研究 ,极端同位旋非对称核物质特性和关键的天体核反应研究 .研究内容分成 7个课题 :(1 )晕核研究 ;(2 )新核素合成及超重新核素研究 ;(3 )丰中子核结构和反应 ;(4)丰质子核结构和反应 ;(5 )高自旋的同位旋相关性 ;(6 )关键天体核反应 ;(7)系统的理论研究 .上述研究也将是 2 0 0 5年建成的国家大科学工程——兰州冷却贮存环的主要科学目标的研究基础 .简述了近期的主要工作进展 .

To satisfy the requirements of the Heavy Ion Cooling Storage Ring which is under con- struction at Lanzhou, afterglow mode was tested with the IMP 14 .5GHz ECR ion source to produce pulsed ion beams. The afterglow phenomenon was clearly observed and the pulsed ion beams of Ar11+ and Ar12+ were successfully produced with pulsed rf power. The peak current of the pulsed beam is typically two or three times higher than that of cw beam. The afterglow peak current could increase by a factor of six after further optiedzation...

The mechani8m of the af terglow mode was studied and discussed on basis of the test results and physical model of ECR ion source.

为满足国家大科学工程兰州重离子冷却储存环的要求,在 14.5GHz ECR 离子源上进行 afterglow工作模式的实验,首次产生了高电荷态脉冲束流 Ar11+和 Ar12+,给出了初步实验结果,并对结果进行了分析和解释.
