The relationship between the immune response of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idel-lus) and water temperature was investigated according to the changes in antiserum neutralization titre (ANT) and percent relative protection (PRP) of the fish immunized with the killed cell-rultured vaccine against Fish Reovirus (Vaccine CFRV). The experimental results showed that (1) the water temperature of 10℃ is the critical point to the immunization of grass carp with Vaccine CFRV; (2) the immune response was inhibited below 10℃ and enhanced with increase of water temperature but tended to decrease above 32℃ (the temperature suitable for the growth of grass carp); and (3) the water temperature during the inductive phase is one of the key factors that determined the occurrence and strength of the immune response.

The results showed that: (1) The hemolymph of unchallenged Mytilus edulis was active against Staphylococcus aureus and Micrococcus tetragenus, and the activities against Vibrio anguillarum was present in the hemolymph of challenged Mytilus edulis; (2)The hemolymph of unchallenged Scapharca subcrenata presented activities against Staphylococcus aureus and Vibrio anguillarum, and the activities against the two strains were highly improved after challenge; (3) The hemolymph of unchallenged Argopecten irrdians had no antibacterial activities against all of bacterial strains tested. However, the hemolymph of challenged Argopecten irrdians was found to contain antibacterial substances against Staphylococcus aureus, Vibrio parahaemolyticus and V. anguillarum, and the activities in the hemolymph challenged with live Escherichia coli were stronger than those in the hemolymph challenged with heat killed Escherichia coli; (4) The antibacterial activities were observed against Staphylococcus aureus and Vibrio anguillarum in the hemolymph of unchallenged Ruditapes Ruditapes philippinesis. After challenge, the activities against Staphylococcus aureus and Vibrio anguillarum increased and a new activity against Vibrio parahaemolyticus was found in the hemolymph.

Crucian carp(Carassius auratus) was injected with the lectin extracted from sea mustard Undaria pinnatifida as an inductive substance and activities of lysozyme,superoxide dismutase(SOD) and catalase(CAT) in the lymph were assayed of 7 days and 9 days after administration.The results showed that there were higher activities of lysozyme,SOD and CAT in the fish injected with the lectin than those in the fish in the control group.However,the activity of the lysozyme decreased from 18.83% to 12.69% from 7 days to 9 days after administration,meanwhile the activity of SOD increased from 66.67% to 139.99% and CAT increased from 16.60% to 63.63%,indicating that the lectin can improve nonspecific immunity in crucian carp.

将从裙带菜Undaria pinnatifida中提取的凝集素作为免疫诱导制剂,注射到鲫Carassius auratusw体内,在连续注射7 d和9 d时,分别对鲫血清中的溶菌酶、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和过氧化氢酶(CAT)的酶活性进行测定,结果表明,注射凝集素7 d和9 d时,鲫血清中溶菌酶的酶活性比对照组分别提高18.83%、12.69%,SOD的酶活性比对照组分别提高66.67%、139.99%,CAT酶活性比对照组分别提高16.60%、63.63%。说明凝集素可以明显提高鲫血清中这3种酶的表达水平。
