A mathematical model for calculating the viscosity of high pressure gas is presented in this article.While this model is used, the gas density is calculated first and then its viscosity. In the large ranges of temperature(37.8~171℃)and pressure(0.69~55MPa), using this model to make an examinational calculation, the value calculated is well coresponded with that measured in practice.
