The weight and oil percentage of 6684 grains from 3 kinds of micro endosperm corn ( Zea mays L.) were measured two times separately. The results showed that the oil content of 1 944 grains among them were higher than 20%,and 32 of 1 944 grains were higher than 25%,the highest was 26.84%. The correlation coefficients between the weight and oil percentage of single grain ( r 1,with degree of freedom,df =78),and between the mean grain weight and oil percentage of ears ( r 2,with df =14 and r 3,with df =64)...

The weight and oil percentage of 6684 grains from 3 kinds of micro endosperm corn ( Zea mays L.) were measured two times separately. The results showed that the oil content of 1 944 grains among them were higher than 20%,and 32 of 1 944 grains were higher than 25%,the highest was 26.84%. The correlation coefficients between the weight and oil percentage of single grain ( r 1,with degree of freedom,df =78),and between the mean grain weight and oil percentage of ears ( r 2,with df =14 and r 3,with df =64) were calculated. Three of them weren't significant at 0.05 level. So it is possible that the strains of micro endosperm corn with higher grain weight and higher oil content can be breeded on the basis of grains or/and ear selections. It can be expected that a new high oil corn type will be breeded successively in future.

分两批测定了 3种类型共 6 6 84粒微胚乳玉米 (ZeamaysL )的粒重和含油率。发现 194 4粒含油率高于 2 0 % ,其中有 32粒超过 2 5 % ,最高为 2 6 84 %。计算了单粒重与含油率 (df1=78)以及各果穗平均粒重与含油率 (df2 =14 ,df3 =6 4 )的相关系数 ,3个相关系数都未达显著水平。表明以籽粒或 (和 )以果穗为基础 ,选育既籽粒相对较重 ,又含油率相对较高的微胚乳超高油玉米品系 ,是完全可能的。有望培育出一种专用型油料玉米新作物。
