在平行光束中安放了一块平行平面玻璃,并且使它在与光线垂直的轴上旋转,那么光线就会产生平行位移。由于转动量要比位移量大得多,因此人们就可以从大量来确定小量。这就是在现代光学仪器中经常使用来提高读数精度的光学测微器的基本原理。平行位移e_s与平行平面玻璃的旋转角α之间具有一定的函数关系。但是这种关系是复杂的,而且是非线性的。为此在设计时就不得不采用近似解法。最常用的机构之一是正切传动机构。由于此间所用的是近似解,因此它就会给测量成果带来系统误差。如何在不增加制造困难和制造费用的条件下,使系统误差值减少到最小限度是设计工作者的努力方向。本文首先简要的叙述了平行平面玻璃测微器的基本原理和误差规律。从误差规律中得出了,通过正切机构中的比例尺分划格值的改变,就可以得到最理想的设计数值。为了使设计工作简化起见,著者提出了使用表格的方法,并以两个例题为例,说明如何使用所附的表格进行设计。
