本文试图从听力课堂、口语课堂、精读课堂中寻找听力成为我国学生英语学习障碍的原因。教育测量活动代替语言习得活动是听力课堂投入大而产出少的重要原因。口语课堂缺少交际性活动 ,听与说没有有机结合。精读课堂教师英语缺乏深度和广度 ,仅局限在语法分析和简单的课堂套语上 ,不足以给学生提供足够质和量的听力输入。听力不是一项孤立的语言能力 ,需要各学科共同反思存在的问题

There is a great demand for English training in China as it has entered WTO. English training for adult learners is also a huge m arket. For adult learners, pronunciation and intonation is a difficult part in E nglish learning. The English teachers must make good use of the advantages of th e learners and help the adult learners overcome some difficulties in considerati on of the characteristics of adult English learners to draw the best result from English pronunciation and intonation teaching.

进入WTO后 ,国内对英语培训的需求将空前增加 ,而成人英语培训更是一个不可忽视的巨大市场。成人英语培训中 ,语音部分的教学是最为基础也是比较难实施的。只有充分考虑成人英语教学的特点 ,并科学利用成人在英语学习方面的优势 ,同时又帮助他们有效克服成人英语学习的障碍 ,才能使成人语音教学取得良好的效果。

There exist some differences between Western and oriental culture, which affects our efficient communication with people form Western countries. The problem is not the language itself, but the differences of culture between Western countries and oriental countries.

东西方文化存在着很大的差异,对西方文化不了解,势必造成英语学习的障碍乃至交际的失误。
